A very relevant an important topic are the certifications in Cyber. Of course there are many points of view on it, but talking from a personal experience, it shouldn't be the major or the only criteria to employ someone. I've entered from a completely different background with little to none technical knowledge, but due to my curious nature as a person, I have taken upon pursuing my certification so I can: a.) talk to my technical colleagues b.) talk to potential future partners on projectsc.) to simply learn something new and expand my skillsetd.) I've been inspired by a strong and supportive community of women in cyberI will will be forever grateful to my manager that took the "risk" and accept me into the team as a project manager, and I dare to say, I am repaying his trust by expanding my knowledge in cybersecurity which at the end of the day benefits me, my team and the organization I work for. #cyber #cybersecurity #certifications #ISC #women4cyber #projectmanagement #professionaldevelopment
